Due to our growth, we are looking for a O&M Engineer – Battery Energy Storage to come and collaborate with our team in Finland.

What you will do

As a O&M Engineer, you will act as the operational link between our French team, our Finnish O&M activities, and local partners. You’ll manage daily operations, coordinate maintenance and technical support, and ensure reliable and safe operation of our energy storage assets. You understand and follow relevant regulation. Your main responsibilities include:

• Oversee the technical monitoring and maintenance of the entire BESS fleet.
• Monitor performance by utilizing supervisory platforms (e.g. SCADA) to ensure optimal operation and efficiency.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with manufacturers and local maintenance teams.
• Manage corrective maintenance: prioritize, schedule, and ensure quality of fault investigations and repairs. Analyze fault events, propose preventive measures, and support data-driven reliability improvements.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance with subcontractors and inspection bodies.
• Ensure and follow that our O&M activities comply with occupational safety, electrical, environmental and electricity market regulations.
• Support system development and digitalization initiatives in cooperation with internal teams.

Desired skills

• Technical background (electrical, automation, or energy engineering).
• Experience in operations, maintenance, or commissioning in renewables, energy storage, or power systems.
• Strong analytical and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple partners.
• Familiarity with SCADA and remote monitoring tools.
• Fluent in English; Finnish, Swedish and/or French are assets.
• A proactive mindset and a passion for energy transition topics.
