Operations Manager

Responsibilities:
- Drive project planning and implementation process by enforcing actionable next steps within schedule and budget.
- Provide project reports, data and business analysis for department head to identify business priorities.
- Drive and improve internal communications by actively communicating regional updates to other teams and regions.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and execution of new product development, sales activities and operations.
- Regularly review existing workflow systems, vendors, project employees and other external partners to improve efficiency and increase output.
- Provide office and administrative services in accordance with management directives including, but not limited to, office management and activities; office rental renewal; legal communications related with regional business developments, etc.
- Being the HR contact point for KR office with HQ and providing HR support, e.g. recruitment and onboarding; contract signing with new joiner; work with local payroll vendor on ad hoc request; work with department heads to manage KPI setting and regularly track and review the performance.
- Assist on bookkeeping in Korea and act as the contract point between HQ Finance team and KR office.
- Reporting to the regional lead to assist and support the overall commercial function across KR landscape.
- Liaison with the external professionals, e.g. KR tax accountant, KR auditor, KR banks; and being the communication channel between HK HQ and KR professionals.
Requirements:
- University degree educated with 4+ years of professional experience. Work experience in HR and Finance are advantageous.
- Worked within a global company across multiple timezones (Creative field preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written English and Korean communication skills.
- Strong internal and external communication skills.
- Strong project management, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks to meet critical deadlines.
- Willingness to implement new systems.
This position is based and located in Seoul. Candidate must be eligible to work in South Korea.
