About the Role: Medialuna is a fast-growing industrial bakery supplying high-volume clients, including Dublin Airport. We are looking for a hands-on, results-driven Operations Manager to lead our daily production and logistics. This is a critical role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can ensure our "Galpón B" operates at 100% efficiency, with or without the owners present.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight: Ensure 100% fulfillment of daily orders. Manage the transition between night and morning shifts to guarantee leadership presence at all times.
  • Waste & Quality Control: Implement and monitor strict Waste Reports. Identify and solve the root causes of production losses to protect the company's margins.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a multicultural team of bakers and packers. Handle rostering, performance reviews, and ensure a culture of accountability.
  • Logistics & Fleet Management: Oversee our delivery fleet (Vans), ensuring preventive maintenance is carried out and delivery routes are optimized for fuel and time efficiency.
  • Compliance: Maintain high HACCP standards and ensure the facility meets all Irish health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a management role within food production, industrial baking, or large-scale catering in Ireland.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of industrial bakery machinery and large-scale fermentation processes is a plus.
  • Problem Solver: A "can-do" attitude. We need someone who brings solutions, not just problems.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to oversee early morning and night shift transitions when necessary.
  • Driving License: Full clean B license (essential).

Pay: €55,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
