We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily logistics, fleet management, and field operations across our Munster based network of vending solutions.
You will oversee warehouse inventory, schedule field technician routes, optimize machine replenishment cycles, and ensure exceptional service delivery across corporate, industrial, and healthcare client sites in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet & Route Optimization: Plan and oversee daily restock, cleaning, and maintenance schedules for field operators to ensure maximum route efficiency and full machine uptime.
- Inventory & Warehouse Management: Oversee stock control, warehouse logistics, ambient/refrigerated goods handling, and supplier ordering to minimize waste and stockouts.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and schedule a team of field technicians, replenishment drivers, and warehouse staff.
- Client & Site Relations: Serve as the primary operational contact for key accounts, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) and hygiene compliance standards are met.
- Machine Telemetry & Tech: Utilize vending management software (VMS) and telemetry data to track real-time sales, optimize product planograms, and schedule preventative maintenance.
- Compliance & Health & Safety: Ensure full compliance with Irish Food Safety Authority (FSAI) regulations, HACCP protocols, and driving safety standards.
· Technical Maintenance & Asset Management: Develop and implement robust preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules for a diverse fleet of equipment. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as waste and machines filled per day. Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and telemetry/network connectivity issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years in an operations, route logistics, or field team management role and distribution.
- Licensing: Full, clean Irish/EU Driving License (Full Category B required; C1/C is an advantage).
- Systems Experience: Proficiency with Vending Management Systems (VMS), telemetry tools, or route management software.
- Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving under pressure, maintenance proficiency and inventory control capabilities.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with Irish HACCP guidelines and workplace H&S regulations.
Pay: €42,000.00 per year
