About the role
We have a great opportunity for an Operations Officer to join our supportive and friendly team. In this role you’ll provide a high level of customer service to our clients by completing the day to day operational and settlement activities of the business.
You will work collaboratively with our Contact Centre, Agribusiness Managers and Analysts and our Online Savings team to create a seamless payment and maintenance process.
The role of an Operations Officer is to perform a range of tasks, ensuring that all input is carried out with efficiency and accuracy, meeting cut-off times whilst maintaining a high level of service to our Internal and External Clients. This would include but is not limited to processing payments domestically and cross border, account closures, booking fixed rates, audit confirmations, and term deposit requests.
This is a 12-month fixed term position.
About you
The role would suit a candidate with a willingness to learn, who is ambitious and self-motivated. You’ll be joining a supportive team environment, so it’s important to be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
You’ll also bring to the role:
- Previous experience within banking / financial services is preferable ideally with an agribusiness focus
- Ability to collaborate and work well with others, while also having the ability to work independently
- Ability to process and understand new information efficiently
- Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy
- Be optimistic and bring a positive to work
- A continuous improvement mindset and not be afraid to share your great ideas
- A passion for the agricultural industry
