As Operations Planner, you will be responsible for effective operational planning, coordination, and administration to support Loadrite’s objectives. By developing and managing production, warehousing, and service plans, you will optimise resource utilisation, streamline workflow, and drive cost-effective operations. This role offers a dynamic environment where your strategic thinking and collaborative skills will ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive operational plans to optimise workflow and resource utilisation.
  • Analysing data and key performance indicators to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Creating and maintaining efficient production schedules, considering lead times, capacity constraints, and customer requirements.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimising excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Forecasting and planning resource requirements, including personnel, materials, and equipment, to meet production and service demands.
  • Leading weekly operations Integrated Tactical Planning meetings.
  • Collaborating and communicating with other departments and cross functional teams and providing planning performance feedback to management.
  • Monitoring procurement activities and aligning them with operational plans and schedules. Support the Buyer, as required.
  • Preparing regular reports on operational performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
You Will Have:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven experience in operations planning, supply chain management, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with individuals at all levels within the organisation
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and planning.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, invoicing platforms, and inventory management software. Knowledge of Salesforce and Rootstock would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • A degree or diploma in operations management, supply chain, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 2+ years in a planning role in a high-tech manufacturing or service environment
