We are seeking applications for a position at the Aalto University School of Arts and Design

Student advisor (for student admissions)

The School of Arts and Design is looking for a student advisor to support student admissions for a part-time job starting 11.2.2026 or by agreement. The duration of the employment relationship is four months. Working hours are approximately 18 h/week and can be flexibly adapted to studies. We are looking for a student of the School of Arts and Design.

As a student counsellor, you will work as part of the learning services of the School of Arts and Design and the university's network of experts. The position is located in the Learning Services team of the School of Arts and Design, in the External Client Services team.

The duties of the Student Adviser include communication and administrative tasks related to the ARTS selection processes. In addition, the advisor will be involved in the preparation, administration and conduct of selection examinations, selection-related events, student and applicant communications and assisting with student selection.

The role requires good cooperation, interpersonal and teamwork skills. The role also requires IT and communication skills and a good command of Finnish and English. Knowledge of Swedish would be an advantage, as would experience in student selection processes (e.g. selection control).

We hope you will be a customer service-oriented student advisor with a good understanding of the School of Arts and Design's studies and culture. You have already made progress in your bachelor's and/or master's degree studies and understand the importance of student selection for the School.

The position is an hourly position, approximately 18 hours per week. The hourly rate of pay is 15,39 € per hour (BA student) or 16,28 € per hour (MA-student).
