Synergy Optometry is committed to providing exceptional eye care through modern technology, personalized service, and a welcoming clinic environment. We’re currently looking for an Optical Assistant to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our growing optometry clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with check-in and intake
• Support the optometrist with pre-testing and visual screening
• Help patients select frames and recommend appropriate lens options
• Dispense and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Perform frame adjustments and minor repairs
• Manage appointments, billing, and insurance claims using Wink Software
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care
• Keep the clinic clean, organized, and welcoming
• Ensure all patient records are handled with confidentiality and accuracy

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, outgoing, and approachable
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Sales experience is an asset (especially in fashion, retail, or optics)
• Previous experience in an optometry or healthcare setting is preferred
• Comfortable with technology and learning clinic systems (Wink or similar)
• Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus
