Our busy practice is seeking a highly motivated and confident individual to join our team. Optical and/or medical background is a plus. This is a full time position in our Lock Haven Office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

*Greeting patients by phone and in person professionally

*Making appointments, answering phone calls, and explaining insurance benefits

*Conducting pre-testing and additional testing ordered by optometrist

*Organizing patient records

*Assisting patients with appropriate eye wear that fits his/her lifestyle

*Education patients on care and insertion/removal of contact lens

*Ordering eye wear/sending and receiving shipments

*Inspection with adjustment and repair of eyewear.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-High School diploma/GED Equivalent

-Ability to multi-task with customer service skills

Previous experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
