Oracle Cloud Security Consultant

Your role, your impact

As an Oracle Cloud Security Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing security controls and risk mitigation strategies across Oracle Cloud applications. You’ll leverage your expertise in Oracle Cloud Security, role-based access control (RBAC) , role design, custom controls, Segregation of Duties (SoD), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Oracle Risk Management to safeguard enterprise data and systems while supporting regulatory and industry best-practice requirements. Your ability to translate security requirements into secure Oracle Cloud solutions, manage access controls, identify and mitigate risks, and collaborate with business and IT teams will directly contribute to secure Oracle Cloud environments, compliance readiness, effective risk management, and protection of enterprise data and systems.

Your day-to-day

• Design, configure, and support security across Oracle Cloud environments, including ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, FDI, OCI, OIC, and related applications;

• Define and enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks, access controls, and role-based security models;

• Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and support integrations with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) security tools;

• Collaborate with clients to identify risks and controls, support SOX readiness initiatives, and leverage Oracle Risk Management Cloud modules, including Advanced Access Controls (AAC), Advanced Financial Controls (AFC), and Financial Reporting Compliance (FRC);

• Maintain security lifecycle and user provisioning processes, and design and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards;

• Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather security requirements and translate them into secure solutions;

• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities, and support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance activities;

• Document Oracle Cloud security configurations and support security reporting and auditing activities using Oracle Security Console, BI Publisher, and related tools;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure solution delivery and ongoing security improvements.

Keys to your success

• 1+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud Security and Risk Management;

• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, FDI, OCI, and OIC security configurations;

• Experience with Oracle Risk Management Cloud, including Advanced Access Controls (AAC), Advanced Financial Controls (AFC), and Financial Reporting Compliance (FRC);

• Experience configuring Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Oracle Security Console, BI Publisher, and audit reporting;

• Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), role design, access controls, and Segregation of Duties (SoD);

• Familiarity with SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001, security lifecycle, user provisioning, and audit requirements;

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Extra edge

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field;

• Oracle Cloud certifications such as Oracle Risk Management Cloud Implementation Specialist or OCI Associate certification;

• Experience with Oracle Cloud monitoring and logging tools, security incident monitoring and response activities, cross-functional team collaboration, client relationship management, and SOX readiness or other regulatory compliance initiatives;

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud security best practices and enterprise security standards.
