Oral Surgery Assistant | Nelson Prosthodontics | Part-Time

Nelson Prosthodontics are seeking a Oral Surgery Assistant to work alongside our wonderful Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons during appointments and clinical treatments. Oral Surgery Assistant contributes to all aspects of Dental Assistance including taking a lead in the patient relationship, ensuring a gold-standard of care to all patients.

• Create a warm and inviting environment for all patients
• Assisting the Surgeons in all aspects if the dental experience
• Cleaning the surgery an completing any sterilization of equipment
• Acting as a team member and filling in or helping out with duties where occasionally required e.g. reception, answering the phones.

The hours of the role are

• Wednesdays: 8.00am - 5.00pm
• Alternative Friday's: 8.00am - 5.00pm

• Either previous experience as an Oral Surgery Assistant or a willingness and enthusiasm to train as an Oral Surgery Assistant.
• Proven customer service skills and with the ability to foster good patient relationships.
• Administrative skills.
• Basic computer skills include Microsoft Windows.
• Previous experience within the dental or medical industry.
• Experience with Exact
