Our Consumer Goods Division is dedicated to helping brands, retailers and manufacturers worldwide deliver safe, quality and ethically made products to their consumers. Objective

Assist in routine operation of the Chemical laboratory - organic division, ensure that deadlines are met, and the lab discipline is up to scratch. Covering sample preparation, weighing, extraction/digestion, instrument analysis, and result calculation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine chemical tests for consumble products (e.g. toys, softlines, food contact materials) according to standard operating procedures, including but not limited to sample weighing, and performing extraction/ digestion, column clean up, rotary evaporation etc.
  • Assist sample cutting and result reporting.
  • Perform data analysis and result calculation and assist chemical result review.
  • Operate the analytical instruments (e.g. ICP / AAS / HPLC / GCMS, etc.).
  • Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Record and maintain the test data in the required format accurately.
  • Handle chemicals, solvents, acids, and reagents safety. Maintain work safe environment.
  • Assist to perform method validation and prepare accreditation audit.

Job Qualification Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or completed vocational training in the chemical field
  • 1-2 years relevant working experience or with some internship experience
  • Solid knowledge in instrumental analysis (e.g. ICP / AAS / HPLC / GCMS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of quality management according to DIN EN ISO 17025 is an advantage
  • Structured and precise working style in conducting and documenting results
  • Team spirit, organizational talent, and flexibility
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, as well as laboratory information and management systems (LIMS)
  • Good German language skills (B2-B1) and good English language skills (B2) in both spoken and written form are required
  • Prefer with EU citizen to apply
