We are seeking an experienced Organisational Development Consultant to join our People & Culture team and play a pivotal role in building capability, driving engagement, and enabling organisational success.

About the Role

As an Organisational Development Consultant at ECU, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering strategies that empower our people and strengthen our organisational capability.

In this role, you will:
Develop innovative capability frameworks and design performance and career development processes that help our workforce thrive. Lead remuneration benchmarking to ensure fairness and competitiveness. Drive employee engagement initiatives , including survey design, implementation, and analysis—turning insights into actionable strategies that make a real difference.

Collaboration is key. You’ll partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to create tailored solutions that align with ECU’s strategic priorities. Your expertise in facilitation, change enablement, and data-driven decision-making will help us deliver practical, impactful outcomes that shape the future of ECU.

About you

We’re seeking a strategic thinker and trusted advisor who thrives in complex environments and is passionate about driving cultural and organisational change. You combine strong analytical capability with exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to influence, facilitate, and deliver solutions that matter.

You’ll bring:
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business, or a related discipline—or equivalent experience. Proven experience in organisational development, capability design, performance management, and engagement strategies. Expertise in remuneration benchmarking and market analysis. Strong facilitation, consulting, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to interpret data and provide evidence-based recommendations. Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
