About Gowrie NSW Orange East

We are a not-for-profit OSHC service that places high value in creating a safe, play-based environment for children to thrive. We consider a friendly team dynamic to be integral to the impact of our learning programs and we are looking for someone who shares that philosophy and wants to support the OSHC Manager in leading a committed and engaged team.

Availability to work split shifts during the school term and straight shifts during vacation care.

During school term, please note the following hours for the role:

Monday (Straight Shift) - 10:30am to 6:30pm

Tuesday to Friday - BSC 6:30am - 11:00am and ASC 3pm to 6:30pm

Hours can change slightly subject to meeting/admin requirements

Your Impact

As part of the senior leadership role in the service, you will engage the passion of our Educators by providing them with guidance and coaching in exceeding practices. Your excellent communication and relationship management skills and the ability to interact with school representatives, children and their families will be key to your success.

As Responsible Person and Educational Leader you will support the OSHC Manager in compliance and be responsible for Quality Area 1 and exceeding practices.

Above all, your genuine interest in supporting little and big people to grow and realise their potential will have a lasting impact.

About you

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Have a Certificate III or Diploma in childhood education
• Have previous programming and leadership experience (must have)
• Are a team player with a creative and energetic approach
• Have valid compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid etc.)
