About Gowrie NSW Kelso
We are a not-for-profit OSHC service that places high value in creating a safe, play-based environment for children to thrive. We consider a friendly team dynamic to be integral to the impact of our learning programs and we are looking for someone who shares that philosophy and wants to be part of a committed and engaged team.
Availability to work 20 hours a week as required during the school term and straight shifts during vacation care.
Your Impact
Our passionate team of educators strive to create a nurturing learning environment for the children in our care whilst ensuring they also have fun. Your excellent communication skills and genuine interest in supporting little people to grow and realise their potential will have a lasting impact.
You will also need to ensure compliance and safety requirements are met, do some paperwork and assist with cleaning and food preparation.
About you
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Have a passion for working with children
A valid Class C Driver's License is required for this position, as you will be responsible for driving the Gowrie bus to transport children to and from excursions and other services as needed.
Preferably have Certificate III or Diploma (Children’s Services) or are working towards this or a similar qualification
Have valid compliance certificates (e.g. WWCC, Child Protection, First Aid etc.)
