Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a comprehensive understanding of osteopathic principles. As an Osteopath, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions while promoting overall health and wellness through holistic approaches. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively within a medical office setting, and a passion for providing high-quality care to patients of all ages.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on osteopathic principles and patient needs.
  • Administer medications as required and monitor patient responses.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a hospital or acute care setting to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic for documentation and patient management.
  • Engage in research activities to stay updated on the latest advancements in osteopathy and improve treatment methods.
  • Provide home care services when necessary, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
  • Offer specialized care in pediatrics, addressing the unique health needs of children.

Skills

  • Strong background in hospital settings with experience in patient care.
  • Proficiency in using medical office software, particularly Cerner and Epic.
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols and acute care practices.
  • Ability to conduct research effectively to enhance clinical practices.
  • Experience in home care settings is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and treatment plans.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
