Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive manual therapy services, focusing on holistic patient care and recovery. This role involves delivering personalized treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The practitioner will utilize their expertise in osteopathic techniques, patient management, and clinical assessment to support patients across various age groups and medical conditions.

We are a small clinic of OMTs located in Orleans.

Must be able to work Fridays, Mondays, and Weekends (if possible) to start.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine treatment needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform osteopathic manual therapies, including soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and other hands-on techniques.
• Maintain detailed charts
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment procedures and providing health education.
• Assist in organizing patient schedules and follow-up appointments efficiently utilizing organizational skills.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in osteopathic practices through ongoing professional development.

Skills

• Multilingual / French or other languages are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Education

• You must have completed a 4 year full time or 4/5 year part time Osteopathic manual therapy program recognized by the Ontario Association of Osteopathic manual practitioners, or Osteopathie Quebec.
• You must have liability insurance.
• You should be a member in good standing of your Association- RITMA, the OAO or Osteopathie Quebec

Pay: From $80.00 per hour
