Job Description (JD) – OTA Sales Executive (Hotel)

Position: OTA Sales Executive
Department: Sales & Revenue
Location: Hotel Property / Corporate Office
Reports To: Revenue Manager / Sales Manager

Job Overview

The OTA Sales Executive is responsible for managing and optimizing the hotel’s presence on Online Travel Agency platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia Group, Agoda, MakeMyTrip, and Goibibo. The role focuses on maximizing online revenue, managing inventory, updating rates, and improving the hotel’s ranking and visibility on OTA platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage hotel listings across OTA platforms and ensure accurate content, pricing, and availability.
• Update room rates, inventory, and promotions on OTA extranets daily.
• Monitor competitor pricing and adjust rates to remain competitive in the market.
• Handle OTA reservations, modifications, cancellations, and guest queries.
• Improve hotel ranking, visibility, and reviews on OTA channels.
• Coordinate with revenue, reservations, and front office teams for smooth booking operations.
• Analyze OTA performance reports and identify opportunities to increase bookings.
• Manage special promotions, deals, and seasonal offers on OTA platforms.
• Ensure rate parity across all online distribution channels.
• Resolve issues related to OTA bookings, payments, and guest feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in hotel reservations, OTA sales, or revenue management.
• Strong knowledge of OTA extranets and channel managers.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple online platforms simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and hotel PMS systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of channel managers such as SiteMinder or STAAH.
• Understanding of revenue management strategies.
• Experience working in hotels, resorts, or hospitality companies.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
