As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for sales growth and expanding our customer base. Leveraging your experience and expertise, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring team members and executing strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Strategic Sales Generation: Develop and implement sales generation strategies, optimizing processes to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
  • Possess a strong understanding of electric motors and power delivery systems, including their design, operation, and integration in various applications.
  • In-depth understanding of industries and customer needs in Northern Manitoba and Ontario, with a focus on regional market dynamics and relationship management.
  • Sales Presentation Mastery: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations or demonstrations, focusing on product benefits and suitability.
  • Present proposals to customers: Achieve sales targets utilizing sales techniques, policies and philosophies of the company, and service center capabilities
  • Customer Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth discussions with prospective customers to assess their needs and evaluate potential for sales conversion.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze customer interactions, sales activities, and lead status in the CRM system to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Leadership Support: Provide guidance and support to team members, sharing the best practices and contributing to team success.
  • Professional Development: Actively engage in professional development activities to enhance sales skills and stay updated on industry trends.
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Proven track record of success in outside sales roles.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, adept at optimizing operations and driving efficiencies.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactical sales plans.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Electrical and electro-mechanical component function knowledge.

Other requirements:
  • Travel within Northern Ontario 70% of the time
  • 30% of the time working from home

Salary: (80,000.00 to 100,000.00 + commission)
