Local Company and Owner Operator drivers!

Posse Trucking is a Locally Owned and Operated Canadian trucking company searching for qualified Class 1 Owner Operators and Company Drivers for our busy and established Local, Regional and Long Haul Flatbed Fleet.

Our fleet haul flat decks, step decks, Expando Trailers, lowbeds, B-Trains and other equipment trailers with our clients' freight all over Canada and the USA.

Operators MUST have open deck hauling experience.

We are looking for operators with and without trailers. If you do not have a trailer, we can supply you with trailers from our fleet. We expect that the right candidate will take pride in the work they do and respect the equipment as if it were their own.

All Operators are supplied with plates (prorate or local) and Fuel Cards.

Much of the work we do is challenging and the loads are often heavy and wide so we expect our drivers to be up to the task. Drivers without the ability or experience to haul wide loads will not be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Compete pre/post trip inspections on trucks and trailers
• Load, secure and deliver clients' freight safely and on time
• Have a mindful and safety conscious approach to all tasks.
• Communicate openly and clearly with dispatch staff
• Provide excellent customer service to all shippers, receivers, customers, and other carriers.

Local / Lower Mainland BC – Owner Operators

• Hauling Flatbed, Step Deck, Lowbed, B-Trains, Trombone Trailers, Oversize loads and more.
• No Trailer Required for Local Owner Operators

Highway Owner Operators – Canada Only (BC, AB, SK, Yukon)

• Hauling Flatbed, Step Deck, Lowbed, B-trains, Trombone Trailers, Oversize loads and more.
• Trailers Preferred: Step Decks, Step Decks with Ramps, RGN/Lowbed (6 up to 9 Axle Combinations), B-Trains, Flatbeds.
• Company can supply trailers but for highway runs we give priority to hiring drivers with trailers.

Highway Owner Operators – Canada/USA (Lower 48 States + Alaska)

• Hauling Conventional Tandem Flatbed or Step Deck, Quads, RGNs/Lowbeds.
• Owner Operator owned trailers Preferred for Conventional Flatbed/Stepdeck runs. Company will supply specialized trailers for other types of loads as needed.

All Owner Operators must supply clean, presentable tractor units that are appropriately spec'd to haul flatbed. Beacons, Mirror Extensions, Load Securement gear, OD signage, Tarps ect.

Qualifications and Skills

REQUIRED:

• Class 1 Driver’s License
• 3+ years’ flat deck hauling experience
• Clean Safety and Driving Record
