Overview

We at Hunk Transport are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver for Flatbed to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely while managing your own vehicle. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills with Flatbed expiriance, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle various types of cargo. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while being part of a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain your own commercial vehicle in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.

Manage logistics including route planning, fuel management, and delivery schedules.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance.

Assist with loading and unloading freight as necessary, utilizing forklift or heavy equipment operation skills when required.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation laws.

Requirements

If you don't have a truck But want to be a owner operator driver. We can sublease a company truck.

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

Proven experience in commercial driving and flatbed freight transportation.

Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance practices for effective vehicle management.

Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

Pay

Bi-weekly Payment.1.10/mile rate with no extra deduction.

RATE NEGOTIABLE FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.

If you don't have a truck But want to be a owner operator driver. We can sublease a company truck.

Pay: $10,000.00-$15,000.00 per month
