YOUR DAY TO DAY AS A PACKAGER

As a new Packager at Barrett Petfood, you can expect a dynamic day-to-day experience focused on quality and efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include carefully packaging pet food products, ensuring that all items meet safety and quality standards. Attention to detail is essential, as you'll be required to inspect packaging for errors and properly label products. You'll collaborate closely with team members, promoting a customer-centric approach while adhering to production schedules. Safety protocols will be at the forefront of your daily routine, ensuring a secure work environment.

• Working with a team to ensure pet food is packaged in an efficient, timely, and quality manner
• Support operator by filling & sealing bags and watching machine run and alerting operator if issues arise
• Keep the packaging line clean
• Assist in clearing jams from the bundler
• Assist operator in all packaging functions
• Assist in conducting & recording metal, weight, seals, and lot code checks as needed

Your expected work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, providing you with a consistent routine while allowing you to enjoy your evenings and weekends. Embrace the opportunity to grow in a supportive, high-performance culture that values teamwork and innovation.
