The Opportunity
Palmerston North Hospital is offering a 3, 6 or 12 months run in Paediatrics and actively promotes strong candidates to registrar positions.
MidCentral District provides an excellent grounding for House Officers looking to grow and develop their skills. There is a 14-bed neonatal unit which caters for babies from 28 weeks or 1000gms. The Children's Ward sees a wide range of admission. Registrars participate in a range of ward, neonatal and clinic work. Tertiary support is available from Starship and includes outpatient clinics from visiting SMOs from Starship.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council's website at www.mcnz.org.nz.
- Completed PGY1 or equivalent and be in the second six months of y our PGY2 year.
