Job Title: Paint Prep Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Paint Prep Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and performing any necessary pre-treatment processes. Your work is critical in ensuring a high-quality finish on every project.

Responsibilities:

• Clean, sand, and mask parts and surfaces to prepare for painting
• Use hand and power tools to remove rust, old paint, and debris
• Apply cleaners, degreasers, or other surface treatment chemicals
• Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure proper preparation
• Work closely with painters and production team to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in paint preparation or a related field is preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Working at Collision center of Milwaukee north you will…

• Work 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. (No Weekends!!!)
• Work with high end luxury vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Volkswagen)
• Further advancement opportunity's in body or paint departments

No experience required. Willing to training!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
