Painter/Labourer

We are seeking a dedicated Painter/Laborer to join our painting team. You will work as part of a crew on various residential and commercial projects throughout the Kelowna area. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in painting or similar labor roles is considered an asset, but is not required. Full training will be provided for individuals who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and taping prior to painting or finishing work
• Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist with general labor duties, including material handling, scaffolding setup, and site cleanup
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met

Requirements

• Previous experience in residential or commercial painting is preferred
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Ability to work 35+ hours per week
• Experience with power tools such as drills, sanders, or spray equipment is an asset
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
• Excellent communication skills for teamwork and customer interactions

Pay: $21.00-$32.00 per hour
