Description:
Orikan is seeking Parking Officers for opportunities supporting Yarra Ranges Council with parking patrols and enforcement.

Locations:Work will be based across key activity centres, including:

• Warburton
• Healesville
• Lilydale
• Belgrave
• Chirnside Park

Working Arrangements:

• Parking Officers will work a rotating 7‑day roster, including Public Holidays
• Majority of shifts will be between 8:00am–4:30pm
• Flexibility is available for pre‑approved leave or personal commitments, with rosters built around availability where possible

Skills and Experiences:

• A strong sense of fairness and respect for community needs
• Resilience and diplomacy in challenging interactions
• Integrity and sound decision-making under pressure
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Clear written communication for documenting enforcement
• Basic computer literacy and strong interpersonal skills
• Current driver's licence (preferred - dependent on client requirements and location)
• Experience in customer service or enforcement (preferred but not essential)
• A willingness to learn the ins and outs of road safety and parking regulations

Hours:

• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rotating roster
• Weekend, public holiday and shift allowances where applicable

Eligibility & Pre-Employment Checks:

• Australian Citizen or Permanent working rights required
• National Police Check, Working with Children Check, professional references and pre-employment Medical for progressed applicants
