We here at Ennis Road Care Facility have an exciting new opportunity for an Experienced Activities Co-Ordinator,
Do you have a passion for caring, a positive attitude to life with a Good Sense of Humour
Requirements
- Previous experience of delivering activities in an individual or group setting
- Be committed, patient and caring person with a sense of Humour and a positive outlook
- Be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills to deliver our activity programmes.
Duties of an Activities Coordinator
- Assist our Senior Activities Co-Ordinator in her Role
- Plans, schedules, implements and evaluates a program of individual and/or group activities based on the resident’s needs at Ennis Road Care Facility.
- Introduce and review resident activity assessments on a regular basis or on a needs change basis.
- Encourage involvement from the residents of Ennis Road Care Facility.
- Establish an open relationship with each resident and encourage each resident to participate.
- Documents activity related information on the residents’ charts.
- Develop monthly calendar of planned activities.

Experience:
- elder care: 3 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Fetac Level 5 in Healthcare Support (preferred)
