Requirements

• Previous experience of delivering activities in an individual or group setting
• Be committed, patient and caring person with a sense of Humour and a positive outlook
• Be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills to deliver our activity programmes.

Duties of an Activities Coordinator

• Assist our Senior Activities Co-Ordinator in her Role
• Plans, schedules, implements and evaluates a program of individual and/or group activities based on the resident’s needs at Ennis Road Care Facility.
• Introduce and review resident activity assessments on a regular basis or on a needs change basis.
• Encourage involvement from the residents of Ennis Road Care Facility.
• Establish an open relationship with each resident and encourage each resident to participate.
• Documents activity related information on the residents’ charts.
• Develop monthly calendar of planned activities.

Licence/Certification:

• Fetac Level 5 in Healthcare Support (preferred)
