Part-Time After School Care Educator :: Ece Assistant (15 Hours A Week)

Employment terms:

• We do not sponsor LMIA and BCPNP
• This is a part time position
• Must able to work Monday to Friday, from 2 pm to 5 pm / 5:30 pm
• To work in school age program

The qualifications:

• Must have "ECE Assistant" certification
• "Responsible Adult" certification acceptable
• Must be minimum 19 years old
• Must have experience working in a school care settings
• Criminal Record Check
• 3 professional references
• Immunization record
• Fast-learner
• Able to follow direction and instruction
• Strong classroom managements and organization skills

Responsibilities:

• Pick up children from elementary schools
• Daily set-up and clean-up
• Provide strong & direct supervision to children
• Ensure the health and safety of the children
• Work as part of the team, which includes children, their parents, and the centre staff members, using the philosophy of the centre
• Give and take direction while making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Participate in team meetings and professional development days
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Maintain a safe, and positive learning environment for all children and their families Value and nurture the differences among all

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
