We’re looking for a part-time experienced specialty coffee barista who thrives working in a fast-paced fun team. We are a busy shop, and you MUST have at least 2 years of experience as in specialty coffee, as well as thrive working in a busy environment. We’re a fun well organized experienced team. Plus, we start Happy Hour liquor and food service at 4pm daily via table service.

This is a part-time mainly afternoons and weekends (approx. 15-25 hours per week) to start and can turn into full-time for the right candidate.

Beyond making awesome drinks, we are looking for people who are outgoing, friendly and knowledgeable about Kits, Vancouver and community engagement.

A vital part of the job is to be an ambassador for Kitsilano and make locals and tourists feel at home in our community. Kits Beach Coffee is rooted in corporate social responsibility through multiple community engagement programs. Job Type - Part-time

Barista Candidates MUST possess ALL of these attributes:

• Be available to work weekends between 7am-8pm
• Have excellent communication and customer service skills
• Have AT LEAST 2 year of experience in specialty coffee and hospitality
• Be very fast and efficient while maintaining order accuracy
• Be mature and confident when working alone
• Have good problem-solving skills
• Clean and orderly
