Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Part-Time Bar person to support our busy events and functions team. This role involves delivering high-quality bar service during weddings, corporate events, and special occasions, ensuring guests enjoy a professional and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and responsibly
• Provide excellent customer service to guests during events
• Set up and maintain bar areas before, during, and after functions
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Ensure compliance with licensing laws and responsible serving practices
• Work closely with the events and food & beverage team to ensure smooth service
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards behind the bar
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels during events

Requirements

• Previous bar experience preferred (especially in events or hospitality)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Knowledge of drink preparation and bar operations
• Responsible attitude toward alcohol service

Desirable Skills

• Experience working at weddings or large functions
• Cocktail knowledge is an advantage
• Manual handling or barista training (optional)
