The Oval Bar is a renowned establishment located in the heart of Dublin City. With a rich history dating back over a century, we take pride in providing an exceptional experience to our patrons. We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Bartender to join our team.

As a Senior Bartender at The Oval Bar, you will play a vital role in delivering a top-notch customer experience. You will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency, and creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity.
• Provide excellent customer service, engage with patrons, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organised bar area, including stocking and restocking supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with other team members to create and update drink menus.
• Handle cash transactions, including accurate and efficient cash handling.
• Adhere to responsible alcohol service practices.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of bartending experience in a busy and reputable establishment in Dublin.
• Knowledge of various drink recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for mixology and a creative approach to crafting drinks.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize customer needs.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and legal drinking age regulations.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be available to work a 4-day week with one weekend day off each week.
