Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving drinks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your ability to manage time efficiently and handle cash transactions accurately will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly service and assistance in selecting drinks.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies.
• Adhere to and enforce Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or bartending is preferred.
• Smart Serve or Pro Serve certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong cash handling skills and experience with cashiering duties.
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• A passion for providing outstanding service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
