Location: Manitoba Battery – North or South Store

Hours: Guaranteed 10 hours/week (more available as needed)

Schedule:

• Every Saturday – 5 hours (required)
• Plus one weekly shift (choose one):
• One 5–6 hour shift on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday,
• OR two 3-hour shifts across Tue/Wed/Thu
• Additional casual hours may be available depending on operational needs
• For the right fit, extra hours may also be available for promotional events and other seasonal initiatives

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable part-time or casual team member to support us through the winter months, with the potential for more hours or extended employment based on performance and business needs. For the right fit, there is also potential for full-time work in the future if it makes sense for both sides.

This role includes a balanced mix of customer service, warehouse support, and helping with battery installs when needed. Shifts may take place at either of our Winnipeg stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with purchases, inquiries, and pickup orders
• Use point-of-sale and basic computer systems
• Assist in the warehouse with stocking, organizing, and preparing orders
• Support battery testing and basic installs (training provided)
• Help maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Provide general support to the team as required

Required Skills & Attributes

• Competent computer skills
• Mechanically inclined and able to learn hands-on tasks
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
• Reliable and able to commit to Saturdays

Assets (Not Required)

• Forklift experience or certification
• Familiarity with automotive, powersport, or commercial batteries
• Previous retail or warehouse experience
