Description:
The role:
Cater Care is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key education sites located in Charters Towers.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering front-of-house customer service and assisting with general kitchen duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the dining service.

Roster: This is a part-time position working 20 hours per week during school terms only.

What this role involves:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our students meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
