Andalusia Speech Therapy is hiring a weekend/part-time Communicative Disorders Assistant (CDA) at our 10153 King George Blvd. location in Surrey!

Our Mission

Help others communicate by providing quality speech therapy to individuals of all ages, economic and cultural backgrounds, and geographical locations, and participate as active members of our communities.

As a CDA, the successful candidate will:

• Provide therapy to pre-school, school aged, teen, and adult clients. We provide services in all areas of speech therapy except for swallowing (caseload: 80% pediatric, 20% adult)
• Work under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist
• Write therapy progress notes using the EMR system - Jane app
• Develop therapy materials for use with individual clients
• Collaborate and consult with SLP and other practitioners
• Attend weekly mentoring sessions with Clinical Mentor

Experience and Qualifications

• Communication Disorders Assistant Diploma or relevant experience
• Practical communication skills with colleagues, clients and their families, and third parties
• Accepting of respectful feedback to improve clinical practice
• Understanding and lived practice of inclusivity
• Fluency in another language is considered an asset

Compensation

• New grads start at $34.95 for each 45-minute therapy session (including prep and note time)
• $30 travel top-up for in-home visits
• Salary commensurate with experience according to company pay range
