Wiarton Kids Den Daycare

Requires a Qualified/Non Qualified Cook

Objective:

• to do all the preparing or help, serving and clean-up of all meals for the Wiarton Kid’s Den Day Care program
• will perform any other duties involved with meal preparation for the Wiarton Kid’s Den Day Care, as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications:

• to be knowledgeable of the requirements set out by Child Care and Early Years Act and Public Health
• to hold a “Food handler’s” certificate
• an ability to work well with other staff
• to be committed to the “Team working together” concept.
• have and maintain a pleasant personable attitude
• an ability to work well with or without supervision
• a willingness to keep confidential all matters discussed in meetings and information shared by staff, day care board or clients of the centre
• ability to manage budget for all kitchen purchases
