Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part Time Counselor to join our dynamic mental health team. In this role, you will provide vital counseling services to children, youth, adults, couples and families in compliance with established agency practices and in keeping with the highest ethical standards of practice and HIPAA requirements. Duties

• Provide individual, couples, and family counseling to clients, in person or via telehealth. Caseload is determined in conjunction with clinical supervisors.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and counseling groups.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on client sessions, consistent with best clinical practices and as directed by supervisor
• Participate in individual and group clinical supervision meetings.
• Represent Lighthouse at community outreach events as needed.
• Maintain license and credentials
• Participate in ongoing training as required for licensure and professional development.
• Participate in professional organizations and networking efforts in the interest of promoting awareness and reputation of Lighthouse
• Encourage and promote self-care and mutual support of staff.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work (clinical), psychology, marriage and family therapy or related field required.
• Maryland professional licensure e.g., LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C, required. Graduate licenses e.g., LGPC, LGSW-C, LGMFT, LMSW, will be considered.
• Counseling experience with families and children required.
• Ability to pass criminal background check required.
• Eligibility for immediate credentialing with Medicaid and private health insurance plans is preferred.
• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

Pay: $33.00 - $42.00 per hour
