Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role is crucial in supporting the financial health of the Practice and requires a proactive approach to credit management.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the company’s debtor accounts to ensure timely payments
- Prepare and send out invoices, statements, and reminders for overdue accounts
- Liaise with clients regarding outstanding debts and negotiate payment plans when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of all communications with clients regarding payments
- Post receipts on to our internal software
- Generate reports on aged debtors and provide insights to management on credit control performance
- Print monthly billing guides
- Reconcile monthly customer ledgers
Experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 15 – 22.5 per week
