Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver with a clean driving record to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers using our companies refrigerated van. This role requires a commitment to safety, ability to represent the company in a positive way, and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. Perfect job for a retiree or someone just looking for a few hours during the week on Wednesdays and Thursdays. NO CDL required.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to each destination.
• Must have active license in the U.S. with a good driving history.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring all items are secured and protected during transit.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate loading schedules and inventory management.
• Assist with moving items as needed within the warehouse or delivery location.

Experience

• Previous experience in delivery driving or courier services is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
• Experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and communication.
• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Experience operating various types of delivery vehicles, including those requiring manual transmission.
