Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Part-time Dental Receptionist to permanently join our dental practice for 2 days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays).
Responsibilities
- Manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and relay messages.
- Verify patient information and update electronic medical records accurately using existing dental software.
- Collect payments, process insurance claims, and handle billing procedures.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling to optimize office workflow.
- Support the dental team with front desk duties to ensure a positive patient experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently.
- Office experience with administrative tasks such as scheduling and billing preferred.
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and protocols.
Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour
