Position: Part-Time Driver
Hours: 20 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
Location: Landmark High School, Prides Crossing, MA
Job Type: Part-Time
Job Summary: Landmark High School seeks a reliable and responsible part-time driver to provide transportation services for campus shuttling, medical appointments, public transportation pickups, and dropoffs. The role requires a driver with professionalism and excellent time management skills who is committed to ensuring passengers/students arrive safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Landmark School vehicle to shuttle passengers/students to and from campus locations at Landmark High School.
- Provide transportation services to and from public transportation hubs.
- Transport passengers to and from medical appointments as required.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept in good operating condition and report any maintenance needs.
- Communicate directly with Landmark Health Center, Student Life Team, Deans of Students, and Assistant to the Dean of Students to coordinate needs each day.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all passengers.
- Assist with mail/package delivery on campus.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed, ensuring safety, especially for those with mobility challenges.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in driving shuttles, vans, or similar vehicles is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of local roads, public transportation routes, and medical facility locations in the Beverly, MA area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must pass a background check and have a reliable attendance record.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM (20 hours per week).
Compensation
- $21-$26/hr.
