Little Dale Academy are looking to expand their team

We are looking to recruit a fun upbeat, energetic Teacher who love creating wonderful learning experiences for children. You will be joining a well established service with a great team. Experience is not essential as this is a floating role which will see you assisting throughout the service wherever necessary

Rate of pay begins at €15.50 for level5/6 and €16.50 level 7+wages are negotiable based on experience

this is a partime role, 16 hours per week(thurs and fri)or 24hrs per week)mon/thurs/fri)whatever is preferable

This role sees a candidate holding a Childcare qualification: minimum level 5

we are located in kilmacud close to stillorgan shopping centre and just beside the kilmacud /sandyford luas

Little Dale Academy is a family run creche operating for over 20 years in Kilmacud/Stillorgan.

Working as part of our team, we have the benefit of small class sizes ranging between 10 and 17 children , all classes are operate in ratio with 2-3 Teachers in each

Role/Duties:

- To provide quality early childhood care and education to children

- To, guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment.

- To assist in the planning and implementation of an age appropriate stimulating programme of activities which will enhance the child’s natural growth and development

- Ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of all children in your care.

Qualifications/ Experience:

- Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.

(All qualifications from outside Ireland can be validated by DCEDIY)

- 1 Years experience is desirable but not essential

- First Aid, Manual Handling and HACCP is an advantage but training is provided.

- Desire to learn progressively and keep up to date on current practices.

Working Hours: Our service hours are between 8am-5.30pm. Our Teachers work on weekly rotated shifts, 8-5/8.15-5.15/8.30-5.30
