About the Role:

ABODE School is inviting applications for an experienced English Teacher with Cambridge curriculum experience, available to join immediately. The role involves teaching Grades 5 to 8 (Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary English) on a part-time basis. The teacher will deliver engaging lessons that build reading comprehension, writing fluency, and communication skills through inquiry-based and creative learning approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary English framework.
• Design activities to strengthen grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and creative writing.
• Assess student work through class participation, written assignments, and formative feedback.
• Collaborate with the academic team to maintain consistency across grades and checkpoints.
• Support school initiatives such as the Readathon, Article-a-Day program, and communication skill workshops.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in English or Education.
• Minimum 2 years of Cambridge teaching experience (mandatory).
• Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
• Availability for 3–4 days a week (part-time schedule) or half-day 5 days a week.
• Must be available to join immediately.
