Part Time Evening Cashier/Sales Associate

We are a family owned local liquor store hiring for an evening shift cashier to run the register, assist customers, and help keep the store running smoothly during the week. Paid training is provided.

Essential Duties:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Operate the cash register and handle cash/card transactions accurately
• Verify customer age by checking IDs & follow all alcohol sales laws
• Stock the register area including small coolers, small sized items, and minor displays
• Maintain front end cleanliness with vacuuming, dusting, & cleaning glass
• Assist with closing duties (counting drawers, closing registers)
• Assist with customer questions when needed, including checking stock in the POS system
• Arrive on time to relieve day shift employees

Requirements:

• Must be able to hold an alcohol serving permit in Forsyth County
• Consistent availability for weekday evening shifts, 1pm-9pm
• Basic math & cash handling skills
• Prior retail or cashier experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
