Part-Time Evening Cleaning Position Available job opportunity

We are seeking friendly and energetic janitorial staff to work in a childcare facility in the in the Monroe, GA area. The part-time position is Monday to Friday after 5:00 PM and the shift is approximately 2 hours long (approximately 10 hours per week). The hourly rate of pay is $21 to $23 depending on experience. Janitorial experience is required and you must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.

Janitor responsibilities and duties:

Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed. Including areas such as bathrooms, offices, classrooms, gymnasiums, and auditoriums daily.
Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and/or parking lots
Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped

Janitor qualifications and skills

Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
Capacity to take direction
Strong attention to detail
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
Physically capable of walking up to 3 miles
Physically capable of bending, stooping and reaching up
