The Absolute Hotel are recruiting a Part time Food & Beverage Assistant available.

The Absolute Hotel Food & Beverage Assistant will report directly to the F & B Manager and will ensure exceptional service standards are delivered and always maintained in line with our guest expectations while dining at Harry's on the River (Café-Bar-Restaurant).

Key roles & responsibilities:

• Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment and ensure that guests are seated and provided with menus promptly.
• Ensure that all guest’s requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively while providing an exceptional service.
• Having a visible presence within the hotel ensuring that all customer needs are consistently met.
• Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen and bar promptly and accurately.
• Set up, clear and promptly service tables after use to ensure that guests can be seated in a timely manner.
• Ensure the restaurant areas are clean and well presented at all times and assist with cleaning duties as and when required.
• Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in line with agreed procedures.
• Ensure that all front of house and guest areas are well maintained at all times.
• Any other duties as directed by the Operations Manager, Duty Manager, Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor or other members of the management team.

The ideal candidate for this position would possess:

• Minimum of one year’s experience in a similar role (preferred)
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
• Standards driven and detail orientated.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Flexible with regards to working hours.
• Must be available Mid-Week.
