Part-Time Gardener / Horticulturist

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable gardener/horticulturist to help care for and develop the land. This role focuses on maintaining healthy plants, gardens, and outdoor spaces while supporting long-term growth, beauty, and regenerative practices.

Responsibilities include:

• Garden care: planting, pruning, weeding, watering, fertilizing
• Knowledge of seasonal rotations, soil health, and composting practices
• Landscape upkeep and beautification (beds, walkways, outdoor areas)
• Advising on plant selection, garden design, and sustainable practices
• Small-batch harvesting of plants, including shampoo ginger and other crops as needed
• Support with horticultural projects that enhance the land’s vitality
• Optional: experience with herbs, food crops, or native plants is a plus

Preferred Experience:

• Background in gardening, landscaping, or horticulture
• Familiarity with sustainable/agricultural practices
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
• Self-directed and able to maintain consistency in plant care
• Bonus: experience in harvesting or processing small-batch crops

Schedule & Pay:

• Part-time, flexible schedule (approx. 10-20 hours per week, seasonal needs may vary)
• Location: Arcadia, FL
