We are currently seeking a Part-Time General Maintenance Assistant to join the team at Shamrock Lodge Hotel.

About the Role

This position plays an important part in the day-to-day upkeep and smooth running of the hotel. You will support the maintenance of guest bedrooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces and outdoor grounds, helping to ensure the property is always presented to a very high standard.

Working as part of a small team, you will take a proactive approach to maintenance, helping to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently while supporting a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Key Duties

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work across bedrooms, public areas and staff spaces
• Repair or replace faulty fixtures, fittings and equipment as required
• Assist with day-to-day tasks such as lighting, minor repairs, painting and general DIY work
• Help maintain outdoor areas including waste removal and general tidiness
• Ensure all areas of the hotel are safe, clean and well maintained
• Carry out routine checks and report any maintenance issues promptly
