We are currently seeking a Part-Time General Maintenance Assistant to join the team at Shamrock Lodge Hotel.
About the Role
This position plays an important part in the day-to-day upkeep and smooth running of the hotel. You will support the maintenance of guest bedrooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces and outdoor grounds, helping to ensure the property is always presented to a very high standard.
Working as part of a small team, you will take a proactive approach to maintenance, helping to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently while supporting a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Key Duties
- Carry out general maintenance and repair work across bedrooms, public areas and staff spaces
- Repair or replace faulty fixtures, fittings and equipment as required
- Assist with day-to-day tasks such as lighting, minor repairs, painting and general DIY work
- Help maintain outdoor areas including waste removal and general tidiness
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are safe, clean and well maintained
- Carry out routine checks and report any maintenance issues promptly

- Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to work efficiently and respond quickly to tasks
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
Employment Details

Experience: 2 years (desirable)
Language: English (preferred)
Licence/Certification: Irish / EU Citizenship or Valid Permit to work (required)
