Part-Time GTA Pallet & Courier Sprinter Delivery Driver
Part-Time | Greater Toronto Area | $18.50 – $19.00 CAD / hour
Airwood is looking for a reliable, safety-focused Part-Time Sprinter Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll deliver a mix of palletized freight and courier boxes across the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding region on a fixed weekly schedule, representing Airwood on the road and at every customer stop.
Schedule
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM – route completion typically between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – route completion typically between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – route completion typically between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM
Position Responsibilities
- Pack, load and unload boxes safely to deliver products to retail, distribution and individual customer locations.
- Operate a sprinter loaded with a mix of pallets and small courier boxes. Pallets are unloaded by the customer; small courier boxes are unloaded by the delivery driver.
- Follow a pre-determined delivery schedule; locate each address and use personal GPS to navigate to the location and meet its specific delivery requirements.
- Drive a route that reaches as far north as Barrie, ON, as far east as Scarborough, ON, and as far west as London, ON – including all locations in between – depending on the day and business needs.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers through friendly, professional interactions. As the sprinter is a public-facing vehicle, maintain a positive and courteous presence while driving among other traffic.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sprinter, including dusting and cleaning.
- Handle general sprinter admin, such as filling up with diesel, DEF solution, and wiper fluid, and report any deficiencies to management right away for further assessment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Success Factors
- Safe driving and navigation ability using personal GPS.
- Ability to follow a pre-determined delivery schedule and pivot when necessary due to traffic.
- Friendly communication and helpfulness with clients.
- Ability to locate orders and deliver as determined.
- Ability to identify customer needs and refer those needs back to management.

Prior Experience That Sets a Driver Up for Success
- Previous experience driving a sprinter or larger fleet vehicle is preferred.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must have a valid Class G driver's license with a clean driver's abstract, included with your resume when applying to this position.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is usually working inside; however, they will occasionally be outside and exposed to various weather conditions while performing tasks such as delivering small package parcels or having large skids unloaded from the sprinter.
Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is between $18.50 CAD and $19.00 CAD per hour. The rate offered to a successful candidate depends on multiple factors, including geographic location, experience in delivery driving, knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skill sets ideal for this position.
